An important association linked to the Greek police has demanded arrest warrants for Troika representatives —ECB, IMF and UE— under the accusation of  “extortion, promoting the elimination of Greece’s democracy and national sovereignty and insulting the country.”

“We warn you that we will demand, as legal representatives of the Greek police according to Greek law, that warrants for your arrest are immediately issued”, declares the Panhelenic Police Officers Federation (POASY) in a letter. Its addressees are Paul Thomsen, from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Servaz Deruz, from the European Commission (EC) and Klaus Mazuch, from the European Central Bank (ECB).

The press release explains that the decision was taken during an extended general council of the POASY, and reflects that the police officers are tired of the international pressures promoting the implementation of saving policies.

The POASY demands “programmatic policies that respect the workers’ interests” and that the interest of the “usurers” “is no longer favoured to the detriment of the basic needs of the People.”

Moreover, it states that “under no circumstances” the police will accept to be used against the Greek people: “We will not accept the killing of our brothers and sisters.”

Following the example of the Spanish police officer who spoke during the 15M movement, the Greek police has decided to make a step forward and join the people, THEIR PEOPLE.

Given the generalised iatrogenic practices that have led the country that gave birth to the democracy to a collapse, the main trade union of the Greek police has issued an arrest warrant for the top executives of the UE and the IMF responsible for this situation.

The warrant has no legal effect because it has not been issued by a judge. However, the situation in Greece (and the rst of the World) can experience a drastic change when the police assumes that they are not going to defend the captive governments but the People.

These are the some of the statements issued by the Greek Police Federation (representing two thirds of the police officers): “As you are implementing destructive policies, we warn you that you are going to force us to fight between each other, we are brothers and sisters. We refuse to supress our parents, our brothers, our sisters, our children or any other citizen demanding a change in politics.“

“For two years, the national federation of police officers has warned you that the policies you dictate and demand to be implemented at gunpoint will explode social cohesion and kill off any hope to restore the Greek economy“. The Head of the IMF in Greece, Paul Thomsen, is the first candidate for said arrests.

PREPARATION

Let’s get ready! First of all, start with the tomatoes. Make a small superficial cross-shaped cut in the base, so that we can peel the tomatoes easily after scalding these. Prepare water in a small casserole and add a generous splash of soja sauce and a little bit of rice vinegar. When it starts boiling, scald the tomatoes for a few seconds (not more than 10 seconds). Drain the tomatoes and cool these down quickly. Place the tomatoes on an oven tray,  spread oil and add salt, sugar and a little bit of oregano. For this procedure, the oven will be programmed at a low heat. We want the tomatoes to lose all the water (the tomatoes will look like raisins when these have lost its water). It will take approximately 4 hours. Supervise the heat power every 20 minutes so that the tomatoes do not end up burned. It may seem complicated, but the result is spectacular; the flavours are highly concentrated and cannot be compared with any other preparation.

Now let’s move on to prepare the mashed potatoes. Wrap the potatoes with tinfoil and put these in the oven. We will cook the potatoes at 180ºC until these are tender (you can prick the potatoes with a knife in order to know if the potatoes are tender). When the potatoes are ready, quickly proceed to peel these because we want the potatoes to preserve the heat. Now, mash the potatoes with a fork and add margarine and soja drink. We are not offering precise quantities because we want you to try and taste trusting your palate. You should obtain a very creamy purée with a delicate, greasy flavour. Be generous with the margarine and use the soja drink to lighten the mixture. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg, and set it aside.

Now we will prepare the tartlets with the filo pastry. Melt margarine in a bowl and, in the meantime, stretch the filo pastry sheets on a flat surface. Using a brush, spread margarine on the first filo sheet, then put another sheet on top of it and spread margarine again. Repeat this step until you run out of filo sheets. Now, sprinkle oregano and cut the pastry as you wish. We cut it in rectangles, but you can also cut it in circles or squares. Place the tartlets on an oven tray covered with tracing paper. It is important to put some weight on top of the tartlets so that these do not grow too much; we used chickpeas. Cook for 20 minutes at 180ºC. Take the tartlets out when these acquire a toasted touch.

And now we are ready to begin with the presentation of our recipe. Place the tartlet at the bottom of the plate, then add the potato purée (the purée should be hot) on top of the tartlet and some cherry tomatoes. Do not add too many tomatoes because these have a very intense taste. Prepare some salad sprouts with oil, salt and a splash of Módena vinegar, and serve it together with the tartlet; it is a fantastic accompaniment.

Although it may seem that this recipe is very complicated or time-comsuming, it is worth it. It’s elegant, tasty and delicate. Enjoy preparing this recipe with your favourite music and a comfortable apron!

Very few panoramics are so spectacular as those offered in Bagan. When it starts to get dark, the high profiles of thousands of pagodas and temples appear on this magical plain, together with palm trees and luxuriant vegetation. We are transported to the ages when this enclave was a glorious reign, with more than 13,000 temples and pagodas.

Bagan is located in the central plain of Myanmar, Burma. It is an ancient city of Kings who, between the XI and XII centuries, competed to prove who could be able top build the greatest, highest and most shining temples. And this is how they reached the figure of 13,000 temples. Today, some 2500 pagodas are preserved. Unfortunately, the Birmanian dictatorship is not making efforts to preserve this wonderful and historic place. Bagan has not been declared Humanity Heritage and it has been practically abandoned.

Although we cannot say that Burma is a paradise for tourists, due to the political and social insecurity of the last years, those who decide to travel to Burma have the privilege to enjoy this breathtaking place.

ELABORACIÓN

A funcionar. Antes que nada, nos ponemos con los tomates. Les hacemos un corte superficial pequeñito en forma de cruz en la base, para que cuando los escaldemos se puedan pelar con facilidad. Preparamos un cazo con agua, un buen chorro de salsa de soja y un punto de vinagre de arroz. Cuando rompa a hervir, escaldamos los tomates en el agua unos segundos, 10 como mucho. Escurrimos y los enfriamos rápidamente. Los extendemos en una bandeja de horno, rociamos con aceite y los ponemos a punto de sal, azúcar y un poco de orégano. Los metemos al horno a potencia mínima. Queremos que pierdan todo el agua que contienen y adquieran el aspecto de una pasa. Tardarán unas 4 horas. Vigilad la potencia cada 20 minutos para que no se quemen. La ultima hora valdrá con el calor residual. Puede parecer laborioso, pero el resultado es espectacular; los sabores se concentran al máximo y adquieren una potencia de sabor que no es comparable a ninguna otra elaboración.

Nos ponemos manos a la obra con el puré de patata. Envolvemos las patatas en papel de aluminio y las colocamos en una fuente de horno. Las asamos a 180 hasta que al pincharlas con un cuchillo las notemos tiernas. En ese momento, las sacamos y con cuidado de no quemarnos, las pelamos; procurad ser rápidos para que no pierdan mucho calor. Las pasamos todas a un bol o cualquier otro recipiente más bien grande. Las chafamos con un tenedor y las mezclamos con margarina y leche de soja. No hemos detallado las cantidades porque las posibilidades son tantas como los gustos de cada uno. La idea es que quede un puré muy muy cremoso y con un sabor más bien graso a la vez que delicado. Os diría que no tengáis miedo con la margarina, y la leche la uséis para aligerar y dar fluidez al puré. Poned a punto de sal, pimienta y nuez moscada y reservad hasta el momento de servir.

Ahora preparamos las tartaletas con la pasta filo. Derretimos margarina en un bol y sobre una superficie lisa vamos estirando las hojas de pasta filo. Untamos un poco de margarina con ayuda de un pincel y colocamos otra hoja de pasta. Así hasta que terminemos todo el paquete. Cuando esté lista la plancha, espolvoreamos un poco de orégano y las cortamos con la forma que más nos guste. Nosotros hicimos rectángulos, pero perfectamente podríais darle forma redonda con un corta pastas. Colocamos las tartaletas en una bandeja de horno sobre una hoja de papel sulfurizado, cubrimos con más papel y le colocamos algo de peso encima (unas legumbres, por ejemplo). Horneamos a 180 unos 20 minutos. Cuando tomen un color tostadito por arriba las sacamos.

Y vamos estando listos para irnos a la mesa. Si se os ha quedado el puré frío, cubridlo y calentarlo, preferiblemente al baño maría; si no, al microondas y le añadís un poco más de leche si pierde textura. Presentad  la tartaleta al fondo del plato, el puré encima y unos cuantos tomatitos bien repartidos. No abuséis porque tienen mucho sabor. Preparad unos brotes de ensalada con aceite, sal y un chorrito de Módena y servidlos de acompañamiento, le vienen fantásticos a esta receta.

Aunque esta receta os pueda parecer complicada o larga, no os defraudará. Es elegante, sabrosa y delicada a la vez. Poneros una buena selección de música, escoged vuestro mejor mandil y disfrutad de lo que hacéis, ese es nuestro mejor consejo.

Pocas panorámicas pueden ser tan espectaculares como las de Bagan, donde al atardecer, los altos perfiles de miles de pagodas y templos se confunden en esta llanura mágica con las espigadas palmeras, dotando al polvoriento conjunto de un halo mágico y místico, reminiscente de su esplendoroso pasado, cuando más de 13000 templos, pagodas y estupas fueron construidas en la región.

Bagan se encuentra en la llanura central de Myanmar, Birmania. Antigua ciudad de reyes que entre los siglos XI y XIII compitieron por ver quién construía más templos, más altos, y más dorados, llegando a la increíble cifra de 13000 construcciones. Hoy en día se conservan unas 2500 pagodas. Lamentablemente, la dictadura Birmana parece ser que tiene mejores cosas en las que pensar antes que en la conservación de este histórico y maravilloso lugar y todo el complejo, que ni siquiera está catalogado como Patrimonio de la Humanidad, permanece en un estado extraño de semi-abandono, con alguna restauración esporádica que, según parece, hace más mal que bien a las construcciones.

No se puede decir que Birmania sea un paraíso para los turistas por la inseguridad política y social de los últimos tiempos, pero aún así, los que deciden viajar hasta allí se pueden considerar unos privilegiados por poder disfrutar, prácticamente en soledad, de este increíble lugar.

While scientists find ever more planets around other stars and contemplate missions to probe the far reaches of our own solar system, researchers are looking to the extremes of the Earth for clues about what kind of organisms could exist in the brutal conditions elsewhere.

There’s hardly a niche on Earth that hasn’t been colonised. Life can be found in scalding, acidic hot pools, in the driest deserts, and in the dark, crushing depths of the ocean. The very existence of these hardy organisms hints that life might be able to eke out an existence in the cold, dry climate of Mars, the icy, acidic conditions of Jupiter’s moon Europa, or in countless other spots beyond our solar system.

Somelike it hot

Steaming hot pools and scalding undersea hydrothermal vents provide a cosy habitat for heat-loving extremists. Such ‘thermophiles’ produce enzymes that are stable at high temperatures. Some have been isolated and put to work in everything from laundry detergents to food production.

The upper limit for life had been widely recognised as 113 °Celsius, thanks to a microbe called Pyrolobus fumari that was discovered in 1997 inside a single hydrothermal vent in the Atlantic Ocean, 3650 metres below the surface. However, a microbe collected from a vent in what’s known as the Faulty Towers neighbourhood, 2400 metres down in the Pacific Ocean, has upped the ante.

Cold comfort

The most frigid polar regions and the darkest depths of the ocean are home for a few organisms that like a good chill.

Many are bacteria or similar single-celled organisms called Archaea, but some lichens called cryptoendoliths go to extremes by colonising pores in Antarctic rock. There’s also an alga that creates reddish ‘watermelon snow’ – a phenomenon first described by Aristotle.

Cold-loving organisms, called psychrophiles, have specialised cell membranes that don’t stiffen in frigid temperatures, and many produce a kind of protein antifreeze.

Salt of the Earth

Despite its name, the Dead Sea does harbour life. It’s the saltiest body of water on Earth, but a few microbes thrive there, in water eight times saltier than the ocean. Scientists studying one of them, Haloarcula marismortui, discovered that it has specialised proteins that protect it from the effects of salt.

Scientists have theorised that any microbes living on Mars would have to be something like terrestrial halophiles in order to cope with the planet’s high salinity.

The acid test

Acidic hot springs and geysers that would eat away at human flesh are no match for some organisms that also make themselves at home in the acid runoff from mines.

The most extreme acidophiles known are microbes of the genus Picrophilus. They thrive at a pH of 0.7, and can grow down to a drain-clearing pH of 0. Both Mars, Europa and the clouds of Venus are thought to be acidic environments, so Earthly acidophiles intrigue scientists looking for life elsewhere.

Deep comfort

Recently, living cells – many of which are Archaea from the Pyrococcus andThermococcus genera – were found in a mud core taken from 1.6 km below the sea floor off the coast of Newfoundland. Though they represent the deepest life ever discovered beneath the sea floor, microbes of various kinds have been discovered at even greater depths under the continents. Communities of microorganisms have been found hunkered down in groundwater as far as 5 km below the surface of the land. Scientists think life exists even further down – to the point where the subsurface heat becomes unbearable for life.

Even the deepest part of the ocean, the Mariana Trench, which plunges 11 km below the surface of the Pacific Ocean near Guam, is inhabited. Globs of mud pulled from the trench have yielded an assortment of bacteria, fungi and primitive single-celled organisms. Video taken by an unmanned submersible that explored the area captured a sea cucumber, a scale worm and a shrimp in the trench, where the pressure would crush a human.

All dried up

In the most parched place on Earth, the Atacama Desert, which stretches nearly 1,000 km across South America, it rains only a few times a century. It’s no coincidence that the desert has been used by filmmakers as a stand-in for Mars, and by NASA to test instruments bound for the cold, dry planet.

Microbes like the bacterium Chroococcidiopsis have been found in the Atacama. But in its arid core, finally we think we’ve found an environment where it’s too dry for life.

Water is thought to be crucial for life because it provides a medium for nutrients to diffuse into cells and wastes to drift out, and a solvent for critical metabolic reactions.

Ageing well

Microbes can survive for many, many millennia, though scientists are still debating how long.

In 2007, active bacteria were isolated from permafrost samples drilled in Siberia, northwestern Canada, and Antarctica that were estimated to be up to half a million years old.

There are reports of microbes surviving for much longer in a kind of suspended animation. In 1995, researchers said they’d revived a bacterium taken from the gut of a bee preserved in amber for at least 25 million years.

In 2000, scientists made an even more astonishing claim – that they had brought to life a 250 million-year-ol bacterium dubbed Bacillus permians. According to the team, bacterial spores in a drop of water became trapped in a cavity inside salt crystals as they formed 250 million years ago. But other scientists countered that water often moves through salt deposits, potentially contaminating the ancient salt crystals with younger microbes.

Those reports remain controversial, but nevertheless, the ever growing list of long-lived microbes gives scientists hope that life may exist elsewhere in the solar system.

Los desvaríos del Ministerio de Sanidad

En el ámbito de la salud es igual quién gobierne en España: al frente del Ministerio de Sanidad siempre se designa a alguien que termina estando al servicio de los grupos de poder, muy especialmente el de las multinacionales farmacéuticas. Así que la posibilidad de que la sociedad acceda algún día a médicos y servicios de salud realmente eficaces y curativos en lugar de paliativos y iatrogénicos es nula.

¿Que ello lleva a la desesperación a millones de personas, ignorantes de que se les está engañando? No importa.

¿Que ello lleva a la muerte sólo en nuestros hospitales públicos a más de 400.000 personas cada año mientras son  “tratadas” de esa manera (morbilidad hospitalaria española según el Instituto Nacional de Estadística)? No importa.

¿Que los médicos empiezan a ver desesperados cómo cada año la industria se inventa nuevas enfermedades para así poder vender fármacos “específicos” para ellas –una auténtica burla en realidad- y en estos momentos es ya tal la cantidad de patologías existentes –miles- que ni los propios galenos se saben sus nombres y los síntomas que se supone les caracteriza siendo por ello incapaces de identificarlas y, por tanto, de afrontar el problema de sus enfermos? No importa.

¿Que la industria ha decidido dada la imposibilidad de curar con sus fármacos una sola de sus inventadas enfermedades hacer negocio alegando que sí puede prevenirlas comercializando para ellas todo tipo de vacunas que dar a las personas sanas? No importa.

¿Que esas vacunas no previenen nada porque jamás una sola vacuna ha demostrado prevenir una sola enfermedad? No importa.

Y retamos públicamente a los colegios médicos, a los laboratorios y al Ministerio de Sanidad a que nos entreguen la documentación científica que prueba que al menos una sí lo logra. Que nos demuestren que hay una sola vacuna que previene alguna enfermedad. La que sea. Es  más, les retamos a que nos demuestren que el VIH existe y es la causa del SIDA. Y que los tratamientos oncológicos oficialmente aprobados y de obligado uso en los centros públicos previenen o curan el cáncer. O que una sola de las drogas usadas por los psiquiatras previene o cura alguna de las inventadas enfermedades psiquiátricas. O que conocen siquiera un solo fármaco que prevenga o cure alguna de las llamadas enfermedades crónicas y degenerativas; y nos da igual si es un fármaco para el parkinson, el alzheimer, la ataxia cerebelosa, la esclerosis múltiple, la fibromialgia, la fatiga crónica, la psoriasis, el lupus eritematoso, la sensibilidad química múltiple o cualquier otra de las miles de enfermedades hoy catalogadas. Es más, que nos demuestren que hay un solo fármaco realmente eficaz que prevenga o cure cualquiera de las “enfermedades” más simples: el resfriado, la gripe común, el acné, una rinitis…  No podrán porque no existen tales fármacos. Nada de lo que hemos comentado pueden demostrarlo científicamente. En cambio sí está científicamente constatada la enorme peligrosidad de casi todos ellos: incluidas las vacunas con las que irresponsablemente se inocula a los bebés y los niños.

Luego, ¿qué está pasando? ¿Cómo es posible que los médicos sigan haciendo el juego a la mafia que dirige un sistema sanitario tan podrido como el implantado por quienes controlan el negocio mediante testaferros en la OMS, las agencias internacionales de presunto control de fármacos, los ministerios de Sanidad, los colegios médicos y las facultades de Medicina? Y, sobre todo, ¿cómo es posible que se mienta una y otra vez públicamente sin que a nadie le pase nada? ¿Cómo es posible que se haga el juego a empresas que en las últimas décadas han sido llevadas a los tribunales en innumerables ocasiones por graves delitos con resultado de millones de víctimas -entre ellas decenas de miles de muertes- cuyos dirigentes no están en la cárcel porque el podrido sistema político-judicial occidental les permite comprar con dinero su inpunidad?

Que el Ministerio de Sanidad, Política Social e Igualdad diera a conocer el pasado mes de diciembre un informe diciendo por ejemplo que sólo “unas pocas” de las llamadas terapias naturales “han demostrado su eficacia en situaciones clínicas concretas mediante la aplicación de métodos científicos” es una burla. Porque ni uno solo de los fármacos que el ministerio ha aprobado ha demostrado científicamente prevenir o curar una sola patología. Es más, ¿cómo permite el ministerio por ejemplo que haya médicos que digan que los productos homeopáticos no sirven para nada cuando tienen hoy la consideración de fármacos y su venta está restringida a las farmacias? Si no sirven para nada su venta es una estafa y debería procesarse de inmediato a quienes los fabrican, los comercializan y los distribuyen pero sobre todo a los médicos que los recetan, a los farmacéuticos que los venden y a los responsables sanitarios que los han aprobado. ¡Todos a los tribunales! Y si no procede… ¡que se lleve a los tribunales a quienes se burlan de ellos por intentar engañar gravemente a la población!

La verdad es que vivimos una situación esperpéntica. El Ministerio de Sanidad debería replantearse en serio la eficacia de los tratamientos y productos que financia el estado. ¡Ya está bien de despilfarrar miles de millones de euros en productos iatrogénicos que ni previenen ni curan nada! Es hora de que alguien ordene que se revise lo aprobado hasta hoy. Es indignante que se exija un comportamiento ético a todo el mundo… y se obvie a los agentes involucrados en el “negocio de la enfermedad”. Hay que regenerar urgentemente el putrefacto sistema sanitario a nivel mundial pero para eso debemos empezar haciéndolo nosotros en nuestra propia casa. Es cada vez más urgente.

Lets get back to that marvelous sentence in the gospel about losing oneself in order to find oneself. One finds it in most religious literature and in all religious and spiritual and mystical literature.

How does one lose oneself? Did you ever try to lose something? That’s right, the harder you try, the harder it gets. It’s when you’re not trying that you lose things. You lose something when you’re not aware. Well, how does one die to oneself? We’re talking about death now, we’re not talking about suicide. We’re not told to kill the self, but to die. Causing pain to the self, causing suffering to the self would be self-defeating. It would be counterproductive. You’re never so full of yourself as when you’re in pain. You’re never so centered on yourself as when you’re depressed. You’re never so ready to forget yourself as when you are happy. Happiness releases you from self. It is suffering and pain and misery and depression that tie you to the self. Look how conscious you are of your tooth when you have a toothache. When you don’t have a toothache, you’re not even aware you have a tooth, or that you have a head, for that matter, when you don’t have a headache. But it’s so different when you have a splitting headache. 

So it’s quite false, quite erroneous, to think that the way to deny the self is to cause pain to the self, to go in for abnegation, mortification, as these were traditionally understood. To deny the self, to die to it, to lose it, is to understand its true nature. When you do that, it will disappear; it will vanish. Suppose somebody walks into my room one day. I say, “Come right in. May I know who you are?” And he says, “I am Napoleon.” And I say, “Not the Napoleon . . .” And he says, “Precisely. Bonaparte, Emperor of France.” “What do you know!” I say, even while I’m thinking to myself, “I better handle this guy with care.”

”Sit down, Your Majesty,” I say. He says, “Well, they tell me you’re a pretty good spiritual director. I have a spiritual problem. I’m anxious, I’m finding it hard to trust in God. I have my armies in Russia, see, and I’m spending sleepless nights wondering how it’s going to turn out.” So I say, “Well, Your Majesty, I could certainly prescribe something for that. What I suggest is that you read chapter 6 of Matthew: “Consider the lilies of the field . . . they neither toil nor spin.”

By this point I’m wondering who is crazier, this guy or me. But I go along with this lunatic. That’s what the wise guru does with you in the beginning. He goes along with you; he takes your troubles seriously. He’ll wipe a tear or two from your eye. You’re crazy, but you don’t know it yet. The time has to come soon when he’ll pull the rug out from under your feet and tell you, “Get off it, you’re not Napoleon.” In those famous dialogues of St. Catherine of Siena, God is reported to have said to her, “I am He who is; you are she who is not.” Have you ever experienced your is-not-ness? In the East we have an image for this. It is the image of the dancer and the dance. God is viewed as the dancer and creation as God’s dance. It isn’t as if God is the big dancer and you are the little dancer. Oh no. You’re not a dancer at all. You are being danced! Did you ever experience that? So when the man comes to his senses and realizes that he is not Napoleon, he does not cease to be. He continues to be, but he suddenly realizes that he is something other than what he thought he was.

To lose the self is to suddenly realize that you are something other than what you thought you were. You thought you were at the center; now you experience yourself as satellite. You thought you were the dancer; you now experience yourself as the dance. These are just analogies, images, so you cannot take them literally. They just give you a clue, a hint; they’re only pointers, don’t forget. So you cannot press them too much. Don’t take them too literally.

Tony de Mello was the director of the Sadhana Institute of Pastoral Counseling near Poona, India. Author of five best selling books, renowned worldwide for his workshops, retreats, and prayer courses, he aimed simply to teach people how to wake up and live.

Most people, he maintained, are asleep. They need to wake up, open up their eyes, see what is real, both inside and outside of themselves. The greatest human gift is to be aware, to be in touch with oneself, one’s body, mind, feelings, thoughts, sensations.

Telepatía es un término que procede de los vocablos griegos ‘tele’, lejos, y ‘patheia’, sensación.

F. W. Myers utilizó la palabra telepatía por primera vez en 1883 y la definió así: “la transmisión de impresiones de cualquier género entre un cerebro y otro, independientemente de toda vía sensorial reconocida”.

Jodorowsky cree que el cerebro humano evolucionará hacia no necesitar palabras para hablarnos: “Se me hace evidente que la única salvación del género humano no será ni económica, ni política. Tendrá que ocurrir una mutación cerebral. Crearemos un cerebro inmaterial, como un aura… Accederemos a la telepatía”.

Carl G. Jung, estudió y experimentó con el fenómeno telepático no sólo en la vigilia, sino también en el sueño: “La autenticidad del fenómeno de la telepatía no puede discutirse más en la actualidad. He podido comprobar, por experiencia propia, que como se ha dicho ya en tiempos antiguos, la telepatía influye realmente en los sueños. Lógicamente, no diré que la ley que subyace en este fenómeno sea algo ‘sobrenatural’ sino, simplemente, algo que no podemos esclarecer en el estado actual de nuestro conocimiento”.

Einstein dice su prólogo a la obra de Sinclair “Radar de la Psiquis”: “Los resultados de los experimentos telepáticos descritos en este libro de modo cuidadoso y claro, están muy lejos de lo que un investigador de la naturaleza puede considerar como imaginable. Por otro lado, es imposible que un observador y autor tan escrupuloso como Upton Sinclair aspire a un consciente engaño a sus lectores”

También escribe Freud: “Frecuentemente he tenido la impresión a lo largo de las experiencias con personas de mi entorno,que recuerdos cargados de una fuerte coloración emocional se transmiten telepáticamente con éxito y sin grandes dificultades. Si se tiene la paciencia de someter a un examen analítico las asociaciones de las personas a las que se transmite, salen a la luz relaciones y correspondencias ocultas que, de lo contrario, hubieran pasado inadvertidas. Basándome en numerosas experiencias, me inclino a pensar que la transmisión del pensamiento tiene las mayores posibilidades de producirse en el momento en que la idea emerge del subconsciente (…). Incluso, es posible que mensajes recibidos telepáticamente durante el día no puedan emerger a la conciencia sino a través de un sueño de la noche inmediata. Por lo tanto, sería lógico que el material percibido telepáticamente sufriera las modificaciones y transformaciones propias de los sueños, como cualquier otro material onírico”.

Está escrita una anécdota que se remonta a 1915, cuando Einstein tuvo a Freud y al sensible telépata Messing como huéspedes en su casa y quiso poner a prueba las supuestas capacidades de Messing. Freud había de darle una orden por sugestión mental. Messing fue al cuarto de baño, cogió unas pinzas y le arrancó a Einstein tres pelos del bigote. Freud reconoció que en efecto ésta había sido la orden que le había transmitido por telepatía.

Ese sagrado unicornio que nombra el poeta Li Shangyin, puede que esté dormido en nuestro interior, sobre todo si creemos rígidamente que exclusivamente nos relacionamos por medio de los órganos de los sentidos.
