The Greek Police Supports the Citizens: “We will not accept the killing of our brothers and sisters”

It Is Time For A Love Revolution

This is a very touching piece of news that must be shared as quickly as possible. The Greek police is using its true power, the dignity of all human beings!

An association linked to the Greek police demands arrest warrants for Troika representatives

They are accused of  ”extortion, promoting the elimination of Greece’s democracy and national sovereignty and insulting the country.”

An important association linked to the Greek police has demanded arrest warrants for Troika representatives —ECB, IMF and UE— under the accusation of  “extortion, promoting the elimination of Greece’s democracy and national sovereignty and insulting the country.”

“We warn you that we will demand, as legal representatives of the Greek police according to Greek law, that warrants for your arrest are immediately issued”, declares the Panhelenic Police Officers Federation (POASY) in a letter. Its addressees are Paul Thomsen, from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Servaz Deruz, from the European Commission (EC) and Klaus Mazuch, from the European Central Bank (ECB).

The press release explains that the decision was taken during an extended general council of the POASY, and reflects that the police officers are tired of the international pressures promoting the implementation of saving policies.

The POASY demands “programmatic policies that respect the workers’ interests” and that the interest of the “usurers” “is no longer favoured to the detriment of the basic needs of the People.”

Moreover, it states that “under no circumstances” the police will accept to be used against the Greek people: “We will not accept the killing of our brothers and sisters.”

Following the example of the Spanish police officer who spoke during the 15M movement, the Greek police has decided to make a step forward and join the people, THEIR PEOPLE.

Given the generalised iatrogenic practices that have led the country that gave birth to the democracy to a collapse, the main trade union of the Greek police has issued an arrest warrant for the top executives of the UE and the IMF responsible for this situation.

The warrant has no legal effect because it has not been issued by a judge. However, the situation in Greece (and the rst of the World) can experience a drastic change when the police assumes that they are not going to defend the captive governments but the People.

These are the some of the statements issued by the Greek Police Federation (representing two thirds of the police officers): “As you are implementing destructive policies, we warn you that you are going to force us to fight between each other, we are brothers and sisters. We refuse to supress our parents, our brothers, our sisters, our children or any other citizen demanding a change in politics.

For two years, the national federation of police officers has warned you that the policies you dictate and demand to be implemented at gunpoint will explode social cohesion and kill off any hope to restore the Greek economy“. The Head of the IMF in Greece, Paul Thomsen, is the first candidate for said arrests.

Losing Yourself to Find Yourself, by Anthony de Mello

lose-yourself

Lets get back to that marvelous sentence in the gospel about losing oneself in order to find oneself. One finds it in most religious literature and in all religious and spiritual and mystical literature.

How does one lose oneself? Did you ever try to lose something? That’s right, the harder you try, the harder it gets. It’s when you’re not trying that you lose things. You lose something when you’re not aware. Well, how does one die to oneself? We’re talking about death now, we’re not talking about suicide. We’re not told to kill the self, but to die. Causing pain to the self, causing suffering to the self would be self-defeating. It would be counterproductive. You’re never so full of yourself as when you’re in pain. You’re never so centered on yourself as when you’re depressed. You’re never so ready to forget yourself as when you are happy. Happiness releases you from self. It is suffering and pain and misery and depression that tie you to the self. Look how conscious you are of your tooth when you have a toothache. When you don’t have a toothache, you’re not even aware you have a tooth, or that you have a head, for that matter, when you don’t have a headache. But it’s so different when you have a splitting headache.  Sigue leyendo

Forgiveness – One of the Best Things To Do For Yourself

forgiveness

To have the ability to forgive great wrongs done to us is something many people struggle with. To finally accept that continuing to harbor the same negative feelings against the person or group that has done us wrong comes with great liberation and peace if we have the courage to do so. When we think of forgiveness we don’t usually think of it as being something that we do for ourselves but this is exactly  what we experience to be true and research has shown this to be the case.

“The benefits of forgiveness are greatest for those who are doing the forgiving”

To show you just how significant the personal benefits are of forgiveness for your own self, below are some statistics: Sigue leyendo

Raw-Food Diet: An Enlightening Interview

raw-food

Today we want to share with you all an old interview on raw-food or fruitarian diet. This is an excerpt from a classic 1997 interview with Stephen Arlin & David Wolfe, co-authors of one of the first major raw food books, the one that started it all – Nature’s First Law: The Raw-Food Diet.

Stephen is a personal trainer and weight lifter that has been eating raw living foods for about 5 1/2 years. He claims that this lifestyle makes him stronger, with more endurance. David Wolfe has been raw for 6 years, comes from a family of M.D.’s, and is one of the foremost proponents of a raw food lifestyle. Sigue leyendo

The Golden Rule: The Essence of Interconnectedness

love-over-hate

A strange thing happened at the US Republican South Carolina debate on January 16th, 2012…the Golden Rule was vehemently booed (click the link to watch the video). In a display of being as opposed as one can be to the central teaching in essentially every major ancient and modern belief system, a sizable amount of the audience at what one would expect to be a civil debate over issues that affect the real livelihoods of millions of people had reacted in a way that has the potential to lead to species self-annihilation.

It is always saddening to see people become so far removed from their alignment with Truth and Reality yet there is always hope that even such individuals that seem to lack the basic human feeling of empathy, as research has shown that even psychopaths can be helped to deviate from a behavior that is destructive to the interconnected whole that is the collective transpersonal consciousness. General Paradigm Shifts

Amazonian tribe has no calendar and no concept of time

The Amondawa people who live deep in the Amazonian rainforests of Brazil have no watches or calendars and live their lives to the patterns of day and night and the rainy and dry seasons. They also have no age – and mark the transition from childhood to adulthood to old age by changing their name. The team of researchers, led by University of Portsmouth, said that it is the first time they have been able to prove time is not a deeply entrenched universal human concept, as previously thought. They also have their own language which have a number system but it only goes up to four. They also found nobody in the community had an age. Instead, they change their names to reflect their life-stage and position within their society. Sigue leyendo

The Educative System: A 17-year-old Boy’s Perspective (video)

Colorful Chalk at Chalkboard

This great video, recorded by a 17-year-old boy, represents the voice of many other young people that are feeling trapped by our current debt-based system. The content, presented as handwritten sheets of paper accompanied by some illustrations, questions the current educative system using an impeccable logic. Why are we doing things in the ways that other propose? Why so much dogmatism? Why are we forcing our children to do what they do not want to do? The only reason is to satisfy an obsolete paradigm that leads to unhappiness.  Sigue leyendo

The Necessity of Restoration of Balance (reader’s article)

restoring-balance

As Aristotle observed, “virtue is in the mean.”  The challenge of our future will be achieving some tolerance for equilibrium in perspective on a number of levels.

Humans have an innate tendency to approach life from one end of an issue or the other.  Perhaps we have a better view of one side or the other; therefore, we believe that we “know” this side of the moon, finding it hard to believe the reality that we cannot see.  However, the more likely explanation for the prevalent diametric opposition in our world and its associated tension arises from the unease inherent in simultaneously holding disparate or opposing concepts.  To admit, “we don’t know”, while assuming that we must choose the correct version to define reality is to accept uncertainty and free fall.  Consequently, we want to believe with all our might. Homeschooling By the Numbers (Infographic)

Homeschooling is the education of children at home, usually by parents but sometimes by tutors, rather than in other formal settings of public or private school. Although prior to the introduction of compulsory school attendance laws, most childhood education occurred within the family or community, homeschooling in the modern sense is an alternative in developed countries to private schools outside the home or educational institutions operated by civil governments.
